BBC Debut!

The choir was recently asked to be part of the BBC's "One Show" - the last edition broadcast in 2011. All very last minute and rushed but luckily the carol chosen was Little Town of Bethlehem so just a polishing session and we were ready.

About 40 members were able to take part and we met at the BBC Glasgow studios in the afternoon for rehearsals and all the various technical details. We were to sing the second verse with choirs and choristers from Belfast, Cardiff and London covering the rest. The show went out live at 7.00 on Friday 23 December and everyone involved had a good, if exhausting time. The results can be seen on YouTube at: http://youtu.be/aHl5ktJX6bI
