In the summer of 2005 the Musical Director of Bearsden Choir, Jim Hunter, approached Jenny Cunningham and asked if she would take the lead in setting up a training group as a source of new singers for the main choir. In October that year some 60 people gathered in a classroom at Bearsden Academy …. and here we are!

A graduate of Edinburgh University and a former pupil of St Mary's Music School, Jenny is currently Head of Expressive Arts at Kelvinside Academy where, amongst many other things, she conducts three choirs. She is also an experienced choral singer in her own right having been a member of Capella Nova and the Scottish Cantata Singers.
